Небольшой перерыв
Решили на пару дней дать Йипе отдохнуть.
Принцесса этот отдых явно заслужила.
А догадка с тем, почему Йипа не ест, — уже не догадка. Сегодня Кэролайн повторила вчерашний трюк с составлением кампании в еде и Принцесса снова съела все, что было в миске.
Если я ей подсовываю миску с едой — не ест. При этом, как и раньше, отлично ест тот же самый сухой корм с рук. Такие вот, загадки природы.

Today we went to the park and focused on leash manners – walking with a loose leash beside the wheelchair, not getting caught up in the leash or straying in front of the chair, and keeping her attention on you, especially when there are distractions like squirrels and cats.
We practiced using forward motion as a reward and turning around when the leash went tight to help her learn to keep the leash loose.
On the way home Yepa walked very well with the wheelchair.
She is showing more tendency to be distracted by cats and squirrels, perhaps as she become more confident in the new environment, so we worked intensively with that.
We also practiced with the elevator back home. We went in and out, and up and down twice to 2nd floor. She was much more relaxed today and was able to sit and take treats when the elevator was moving.
We practiced with the target stick and she is getting confident with that – able to touch a moving target, and touch the target when it is close to a wall and slightly above her head
I encouraged her to eat from her bowl by pretending to be a dog and eating with her – and she ate all her food for the second time.
