Вчера было про собак. Сегодня про собак тоже есть, правда, более светлая новость. Парень спас двух Golden Retrievers упавших с 175 ft (более чем 50 метров) высоты во время грязевого селя.

А вот с людьми новости хуже.

Vancouver police said Wednesday a father set fire to his home that killed five of his six children and himself on Easter Sunday.

The 15304 NE 13th Circle home was ablaze when fire crews responded early Sunday morning, and initially two bodies were found, then later four more were discovered.

Police believe Tuan Dao, 37, used liquid fuels to ignite an explosion the killed five of his children: Nolan Dao (12-years-old), Noah Dao (9), Jacob Dao (9), Samantha Dao (8) and Nathan Dao (6).

The Evergreen School District said the four younger children went to Hearthwood Elementary until about six weeks ago, when they transferred to Harmony. Nathan went to Pacific Middle School. Grief counselors were at the schools on Monday and Tuesday and on call the rest of the week.

Один несчастный обанкротившийся папа, сжег свой дом вместе с пятью своими детьми. Мама и шестой ребенок, отсутствовавшие в тот момент, — остались живы. Случилось это в воскресенье. На Пасху.

Действительно, страшная трагедия. Ужасно, что некоторые люди не находят никакого иного выхода из ситуации банкротства.
