MILWAUKIE, Ore. – Police arrested two accused drug dealers in connection with the death of a Milwaukie High School student.
On Friday, April 1, Toviy Sinyayev’s family members found him unconscious, in a coma. The 17-year-old died two days later in a local hospital. An autopsy indicated that he had died of a heroin overdose.
According to documents obtained by The Oregonian, police traced the drugs in the case to 50-year-old Joann Marie Buchholz of Portland, and to 42-year-old Aleksey Alexandrovich Dzyuba of Milwaukie. The Oregonian cites court documents which accuse Dzyuba of going to Sinyayev’s Milweaukie home to deliver heroin to Toviy Sinyayev, and to his sister. The three then allegedly went to a Northeast Portland parking lot, where Dzyuba sold them even more heroin. At that point, Buchholz then showed up at the parking lot to sell them even more.
